Galveston Vacation

We had a fun family vacation in Galveston. Whitaker and Brinley both got to see the beach even if it was brown, they don't know the difference between nice sand and yucky sand, sand is sand people! So they had a blast. We stayed in a beautiful home that slept about 20 people and for a couple of nights we had about 18 people sleeping there. The only peeps not there were the Beaudines, who were missed! It was late night poker tournaments then early riser children, lots of coffee in the morning and beach! Overall a great time!!

Spring Pictures

We went to the Arboretum today for Dallas Blooms and it was beautiful. Whitaker was a little bummed that there were no bunnies, horses or cows to see. Not sure where he got horses or cows but he did get to pet the goats, wheww!! We had a couple of different friends join but of course Madison Bishop was with us and Whitaker and her got to enjoy a good ole-fashion root beer float together. So cute!

Brinley's First Birthday Party

After a day of snow and cold, Saturday was a beautiful day. It was sunny and we were able to go outside and play during Brinley's Birthday Party. She had no interest eating her cake but loved her cheese. I can't believe it, she is one. She actually turned one in February but still so bizarre. Gayle came in town and hung out with us all day, which was a treat!! We missed you Mama and Papa, Cheryl and Bob and Ali and Jenny.

Snow Day March 2008

Finally we got snow...and we loved every minute of it. Brinley was a great sport and lasted only a bit but Whitaker could not get enough. Of course playing in the front yard with snow or no snow is not complete unless Robert and Cathy are with us, so we got Robert out of his man cave and he joined us in the fun!
